A really well written, and phenomenally acted show. Both actors are fully committed and watching the lead go through his arc is well worth the short runtime. This is a very important story about the brainwashing of half of our country.... full review

What a show this is. One of the most well-written, well-acted, and tightly constructed plays at Fringe this year. Mr. Brahan has written an incredibly uncomfortable play that is highly relevant in our day and age; yet at the same time, it isn't too topical. This show is highly engaging from start to finish and reaches its inevitable, horrific conclusion masterfully. Come see this show; it'll raise the hair on the back of your neck in the best way possible. ... full review

At first glance this show prepares you for an easy liberal win at the expense of redneck archetypes well crafted by the writer director team. However it evolves into a much more thorough analysis of why and how right wing extremeists operate. Luckily, the writer is Mississippi based so his dialogue was fresh, inviting, and hauntingly poetic. The audience is pulled into this awkward coming of rage for a white lonely millennial on the brink of ‘giving in’ to the point where the audience starts to sympathize with both characters. This is where the piece as a whole elevates from just clever dialogue. I believe underneath the hate symbols, racism, guns, there is a legitamite movement on the right that isn’t being heard. "American History X" meets "The Trump Era" and this piece is the best show I've seen for this year's Fringe season. This play needs to be extended and invested into because it's "The Trump Era Play" everybody has been waiting for. ... full review
