This is one of the most poignant, well-written, acted and directed plays I’ve seen in quite sometime. I would see it again without hesitation. Do not miss. ... full review

This is a work that defies the common wisdom, which is common because it is wise. But Brahan and Schultz offer themselves up as the proverbial “exceptions that tests the rules. A Platinum Medal... full review

A gripping, all too timely, and well-acted drama!... full review

I met actor John Brahan at the Better Lemons panel in which I participated, and he was so enthusiastic about this show, I knew I had to go see it. And even though the idea of anyone that far to the right of the political spectrum is abhorrent to me, the two actors in the play both gave amazing performances which riveted my attention from start to its surprising finish.... full review
"American History X" meets "The Trump Era" and this piece is the best show I've seen for this year's Fringe season. This play needs to be extended and invested into because it's "The Trump Era Play" everybody has been waiting for. ... full review

At first glance this show prepares you for an easy liberal win at the expense of redneck archetypes well crafted by the writer director team. However it evolves into a much more thorough analysis of why and how right wing extremeists operate. Luckily, the writer is Mississippi based so his dialogue was fresh, inviting, and hauntingly poetic. The audience is pulled into this awkward coming of rage for a white lonely millennial on the brink of ‘giving in’ to the point where the audience starts to sympathize with both characters. This is where the piece as a whole elevates from just clever dialogue. I believe underneath the hate symbols, racism, guns, there is a legitamite movement on the right that isn’t being heard. No, being racist, anti-gay... full review
What a show this is. One of the most well-written, well-acted, and tightly constructed plays at Fringe this year. Mr. Brahan has written an incredibly uncomfortable play that is highly relevant in our day and age; yet at the same time, it isn't too topical. This show is highly engaging from start to finish and reaches its inevitable, horrific conclusion masterfully. Come see this show; it'll raise the hair on the back of your neck in the best way possible. ... full review

A really well written, and phenomenally acted show. Both actors are fully committed and watching the lead go through his arc is well worth the short runtime. This is a very important story about the brainwashing of half of our country.... full review

I cannot stop thinking about this show. The interaction between these two performers had a dynamic chemistry, playing cat and mouse perfectly. The script was terrifyingly well written, in turns making me uncomfortable and thoughtful, and the subject matter was relevant to the extreme. This play explores what it means to be complicit and personalizes responsibility for your fellow man. ... full review

This is a very powerful political drama reflecting some real issues going on in our world today. Pat wrestles with the life he is living and who is ultimately responsible. He is pulled to the extremist ideas of Red, a Trump loving conservative who sees his world of the white male being pushed aside by all the diversity movements being played out in today's society. The acting and dialogue brings you right in the middle of this complicated relationship. Go see one of the remaining shows! ... full review
