Bonnie has created a show that is honest, raw, funny, and heartwarming. She has a terrific understanding of storytelling, and utilizes humor with a very serious topic. An absolutely creative, fun, energetic and charming show! It reminded me that I used to watch Miss Frizzle and the Magic Bus and and was just as entertaining, fun and educational. Yes, as an adult. I loved it. Bonnie engages the audience with witty dialogue and a compelling story of having survived sexual violence that’s enjoyable, potent, raw and honest. Her story and the continuing healing process that she allows herself shows her strength, openness and heart. Recognizing the effect trauma on the body, the story lets the body tell how pain can get stored and the need for release.... full review

It was a really fun and exciting show. I appreciated Bonnie's humorist approach to such a dark subject. Her ability to find levity in such a tragic topic is just a testament to her talent and to create a safe space for the audience to be able to laugh through the pain so to speak was remarkable. ... full review

Bonnie is one talented artists. She sings, writes, acts with such amazing artistry. I love her unique voice and way of telling an emotionally difficult story through a fun school bus ride inside her own body. How brilliant is that?!?!?! I loved the audience participation aspects of the show too. I'm in awe of her skills. I also find Bonnie's honesty beautiful in her very intimate moments of telling us the trauma's that have molded her. She is a very charming actress and storyteller. ... full review

Bonnie's show was a truthful journey through her trauma as a young girl. My favorite moments in solo theatre are when the performer lowers their mask and becomes completely vulnerable. Bonnie did this several times throughout her show and you're truly in the presence of her pain. All the while, Bonnie takes the audience on a whimsical and playful journey through her body, which was a truly creative and clever way to navigate the "traumedy." The ending (which I won't give away!) was touching and left you feeling like you want to hug Bonnie and tell her, "it'll all be OK." In so doing, you begin to understand that your life will also be OK! ... full review

Bonnie takes a very creative approach to telling her story. I applaud her ability to think outside the box. I personally prefer a more traditional, linear way to tell a story so I can follow easily from beginning to end. I was working too hard.... full review

You don't need to be knowledgable about the Magical School bus to enjoy this show, but if you are a fan of the cartoon, you oughtta check out Bonnie's take. She's a talented performer with a great voice, and I bet with more shows, she'll get more comfortable pushing the boundaries and limits of her characters (and body). The more she's able to do that, the more of a ride it will be for everyone involved. We're with you Bonnie! Through the good, the bad, and the gurgly! ... full review
