So gripping I couldn't take my eyes off of Cathy, and the time flew by so quickly, I couldn't believe over an hour had gone by!...

I wanted to see this due to the subject matter. While that didn't disappoint whatsoever, it was also the strength of the performer that made this such a much see. She is fantastic, both the story and the manner in which it is presented is fascinating, this is seriously not to be missed! This is the best of Fringe 2016, absolutely. See it!!!...

The show was incredibly touching, and moving. It was an emotional roller coaster for sure. Cathy's ability to play characters and immerse the audience in the world of Scientology was the most amazing part to me. As a former Scientologist myself it served as a stark reminder of the word from which I came. The horrible, horrible world that I was raised in....

Brilliant, honest, creative true-life story telling by the seriously funny and talented actress Cathy Schenkelberg. Just see it! Live the experience of being part of Scientology, without having to actually experience it yourself. She deserves to be seen and you won't be sorry....

What a brave performance. Cathy's emotional range is astonishing. She makes you laugh, she makes you cry. She sings and dances too! Her story is a fascinating cautionary tale. Well directed too!...

Perhaps one of the greatest gifts of Cathy Schenkelberg escaping this cult is that she now joins the front ranks of amazing solo artists, delivering a memoir that is hypnotic, heart-breaking and ultimately heart-mending. Using her incredible vocal and physical acting skills, she immerses us in what it was like to fall under the spell of this "church." Shirley Anderson directs with precision, drawing out the compassion in the piece, giving Cathy only a chair to work with and Brandon Baruch's ace lighting design. Two boards and a passion indeed. And it's all that's needed to support the urgency of this cautionary tale....

This is a good story well told. Because the performer has a deep investment in the story she shares, the whole thing is very moving without falling into the trap is self-pity. This show is super fun....
