I have been a huge fan of this show since Lauren and Amber first started doing it at Serial Killers. The writing is clever, the music is fantastic and the acting is spot on. Let's not forget to mention Steve Weibe's very committed dance moves. Hilarious! Brendan puts his own twist on Billy Mitchel, making it like a new show compared to the other version, and equally as funny. The actors are hardly off the stage, except to change costumes, and they never miss a beat. It's non stop entertainment but also VERY impressive stamina. I will continue to see this show again and again. The character Eveyln is easily the hilarious show stopper! ... full review

One of the best hours at Fringe. Just ridiculous and absolutely hysterical. Catchy songs wonderfully and energetically performed. Literally did not stop laughing the entire time. Love both of the artists. You guys were incredible and so much fun. Go see this show!!... full review

This show is just bloody, glorious, rediculous fun. It's the show you wish you had made and were in but watching it you can't imagine you ever could be because the two people doing it do such an incredible job being amazing at every single part and song. Silly, perfect, simple, great.... full review

I loved this show! Lauren & Brendan are so funny, and the show is written so well. The show is funny whether or not you've seen the documentary, probably a little funnier if you have seen it. Loved it, the entire audience was laughing throughout.... full review

If you have seen the King of Kong documentary, then definitely go see this! It's a solid production with good singing - when I could hear Lauren Van Kurin, her voice was lost quite a bit in the loud piped-in music - high energy and actors who have a thorough understanding of parody. If you have never seen the documentary, you will probably miss out on about 80% of the jokes. It is a solid piece, so there will be aspects to enjoy, but this is definitely intended for an audience already familiar with the movie.... full review

If you're sick and tired of watching Brendan Hunt and Lauren Van Kurin kick ass on stage, skip this show. It will only make you sicker and more tired. But if you think these two are fantastically talented (or haven't seen either of them before), go see them do a two person, quick-change comedy musical based on one of the better documentaries out there. It's simply fantastic. Written by Amber Ruffin (who got whisked away by a paying gig. Lame!)and Lauren Van Kurin, the script and songs are about as funny as can be. And watching Hunt and Van Kurin tear through it will be one the highlights of your Fringe this year. I promise. DISCLAIMER: Both of these rock stars are in my show. But to be fair, I saw this show before I even knew Laure... full review

If you've seen the documentary it's based on, you owe it to yourself to see this show. It was hilarious from start to finish, full of great songs, fun dancing, and awesome visuals. And the lightning quick costumes changes were really impressive (and funny!) ... full review

Yet another product of the hit factory that is Sacred Fools' Serial Killers. F'ing brilliant. Loved it. I've never seen the documentary, but now I'm going to (...in August, after I've slept through July). Don't miss this one. ... full review
