TRYING is a dark cerebral comedy about a young man moving out of his apartment. After a life altering rejection, through grief, withdrawals, and a hand injury, in a seemingly hopeless moment, Bruce finds hope through pursuing what he loves. The question is; will he move out, and escape the mob?

Art restorer Elliot has decided he is safer living like the paintings he repairs- behind a thick layer of varnish, distant, untouchable. But when a stranger commissions him to restore his most challenging painting yet, Elliot learns to let people into his life again. CW: Themes of sexual assault
