A funny, moving, and deeply personal piece that gives great insight into a flawed mother-son relationship, with The Beatles playing a subliminal but pivotal role in the journey. ... full review

This show was absolutely hilarious! Everyone fit their role really well and served the production perfectly. I loved the inventiveness and updated humor-- it all fit well with our current social climate, while still maintaining the heart and spirit of the film. Kudos all around!... full review

I actually saw this show accidently. I was trying to see another show but when it seemed they started early, I rant next door to this production not knowing what to expect. Boy was I surprised! I was immediately entranced by the abstract work I experienced. Experience is a key word because this was a production you didn't just watch, but you experienced from the moment you entered the space. The music, atmospheric projections, and odd figures which occupied the stage pre-show really transformed t... full review

This show was delightful! Bella Merlin is enchanting. She has a great way of capturing the audience and keeping them with her til the final blackout. The show is full of bawdy wit and charm and is not to be missed!... full review

Fifty Shades of Shrew

This was a fantastic show! The cast was phenomenal and all on point. Although I've never seen "Taming of the Shew," I know the story well, and I can say if I didn't know better, I would imagine this was the way the play was intended to be done. Dawn Alden, Dana DeRuyck, Shana Gregory, and Jen Albert all delivered some truly stand-out performances, being very truthful and committed in their delivery; but this shouldn't imply that any less of the rest, because as I said, a truly strong and talented... full review

I wasn't crazy about the script, but I thought some fine acting was displayed. The actors did really well with the script they were dealt, offering an in-depth, honest portrayal of their characters. Justin Gordon and Jenna Johnson were stand-out performances; but all actors contributed well to this strong ensemble. I really liked their choice of lighting, utilizing practicals for a more intimate setting. Well-produced and a nice installment for the fest. Kudos.... full review

I love comedy and I love blood. This was a fun show! Very Tarantino-esque. Really well produced and executed. Great house music, nice use of light and sound overall, the blood effects were really neat (not for the squeamish), and it was a great use of the space. Seriously! The space seemed to work perfectly for this show, almost like it was built specifically for their show (not common with fringe). Kudos! ... full review
