Vee Kumari
Vee Kumari is a writer, actor, and producer, roles she assumed after spending thirty-five years as a medical school professor. Her acting credits include “Criminal Minds” and “GLOW”. She was the executive producer and lead for “HALWA”, a short film that won HBO’s Asia Pacific Visionary Award in 2019. The need to promote the authentic voices of South Asian women led her to produce and perform in Yoni Ki Kahaniya in 2023.
This year, she brings a 2-person play, short and sweet, about a grandmother’s conversation with her granddaughter!
