Joy Bhowmick
Joy Bhowmick is an actress/filmmaker who recently moved to LA. While currently discovering L.A., she has trained in both Atlanta and New York. Her work includes productions at Oglethorpe University as a student in Atlanta (Tartuffe, Our Country’s Good, Fefu and Her Friends, Big Love) and other shows in regional theaters around Atlanta (Theatrical Outfits, 7 Stages). She also has worked in independent films and commercials in the Southeast region. Joy’s likes to explore the experiences of first generation South Asian Americans through her art. Some of her favorite things are animals, discussions about psychology and enjoying a sunny day.
