Olivia Xing
Olivia Xing is a writer, actor, puppeteer, and stand-up comedian. She has been seen on the Comedy Store, the Hollywood Improv, and the Roosevelt. She has starred in films selected by Cairo International Film Festival, HollyShorts Film Festival, and LA Asian Film Awards. The documentary series 「一次远行」(Bon Voyage) about the making of her one woman show during the pandemic “Rooftop Somnambulism” has streamed over 10M views on TencentVideo. Multilingualism, transnationalism and mysticism are constant themes in her work, which she began exploring while getting her B.A. in Comparative Literature, French, and Theater from Bryn Mawr College. She is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Acting, California Institute of the Arts.
