Well acted, with some very touching moments. I heard many comments during the festival about how long a Fringe show 'should' be which I personally find bizarre - as Peter Schaeffer has Mozart stating in his play Amadeus when the King says there are 'too many notes' - "there are as many notes as there need to be!" Similarly, this play is as long as it needs to be and they held the audience's attention throughout.... full review

A great, strong cast, who worked well together. Completely engaging, I was drawn into their world and felt conflicted by the characters morally dubious choices. A great script and for the most part very well directed in a tricky venue. It deserves a much wider audience and I hope it gets seen far and wide.... full review

All in all I loved it. I left with a big smile on my face. It was a fun romp and managed to entertain me even though I'm not a Pokemon enthusiast. Some excellent performances and some very funny lyrics.... full review

This was the first and only show I absolutely HAD to give a standing ovation for and it takes a LOT to get me to stand for an ovation! There were a few things I would have changed if I'd directed this show, but Crystal is such a powerful and compelling performer that it more than made up for any of the things I would've changed. What a pity it's finished already, but if it gets a well-deserved encore, go and see it!... full review

For me this was a niche-market play - because of the fantasy element of it - and I think a lot of people may not have come to see it simply because they really didn't know what it was going to be about, which is a pity because it was well-worth seeing.
