One of my favorite shows at Fringe. Kirkland's story about how he became (for a time) obsessed and convinced by various YouTube conspiracy theories is utterly compelling. It's well written, well directed, and really well performed. ...

A feat of absurd anti-entertainment that somehow also manages to be totally entertaining and thoughtful. ‘Prospective’ Ben's put-upon pitch man is an amazing creation, full of soulless pathos, an American can-do spirit, and tragic comedy. Like nothing else at Fringe, I guarantee you....

An ambitious and creative take on the super-hero genre we have come to know so well. The script by Greg Crafts asks a lot of his actors and the director, and everyone delivers. It's a skillfully woven action drama that has everything from love scenes to fight scenes. Even one love scene THAT IS a fight scene! ...

A well crafted and enjoyable show about one man's obsession. The joy that Brett Moore gets out of baseball is totally infectious. Whether or not you are a fan of the game, you will be a fan of Brett and his encyclopedic knowledge of the game....

Funny, charming, creative take on a super-hero story. Daly's script manages to be both a send-up and a love letter to the genre, with great use of projections and costumes to bring the show to life....

A truly beautiful staging of a great script. I have not read Little Women, but the script does a great job hitting both the beats of that series of books and Lousia May Alcott's life, so even an Alcott noob can appreciate. And there's a lot to appreciate. The design and choreography were so thoughtful and effective, proof that you don't need a humongous budget to create magical stage moments....

Charming, funny, and delightful musical set in a Jamba Juice. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? I have never seen Avenue Q, but I know the cast recording really well, and this has Avenue Q vibes to me. It has a self-aware cynicism over top a soft fuzzy heart....

An extremely well put together, moving solo show. Marla Black's story about growing up with a pack of sled dogs, and a father who was the ultimate alpha dog, weaves together personal storytelling, TED-talk style lectures about dog pack dynamics that were insanely interesting, and well-placed act-outs of her story. ...
