Description
“Solo Splash Award” for female identifying artists with opportunity to perform at NAMBA Performing Arts Space in Ventura CA.
Qualifications
- Must be a solo show with person identifying as “female"
- A point of view that is new or unusual that the community would benefit from hearing
- Must be “family friendly PG-13”
- Must be correct length ( 50-90 min.)
- Must work on the stage at NAMBA, minimal props, sound fx requirements
- Applicant must be available and agree to terms
- Must be an original show they have all rights to
- People of color are highly encouraged to apply
Methodology
By discussion of 10 shows and a vote of a committee of 5 diverse women, 3 from NAMBA and two from fringe resources.
