Powerful performances, great balance of comedy and drama, wonderful lighting and scenic design, could tell this was workshopped and refined, impressive production value overall
What I didn't like
A bit long and a more ambiguous ending could make post-show reflections open further
My overall impression
Halfway to Gethsemane contains powerful performances with the right balance of levity to keep us laughing in between reflection on the status of the world… and if we’re past saving. Clearly a labor of love, or fear, or that beautiful, therapeutic balance of both that spurs art like this, Halfway… ignites introspection within its audience members and helps us smile through the tears. Bravo!
