My overall impression
What a great time! Actor and author Penny Peyser has created a vibrant niche virtually all her own: she’s on it with sonnets. Blending a retro “milady” vibe as a true contemporary eccentric, Peyser runs through a repertory of sonnets sung sweetly and with a marked inflection. It really has to be seen-and heard- to truly appreciate the work.
