My overall impression

As much fun as reading Penny’s “Sonnets from Suburbia” is, seeing Lady Penelope perform them takes the material to new heights. What’s clever on the page becomes hilarious on the stage. But wait, there’s more! The wraparound story she’s constructed adds a surprisingly emotional twist to the whole affair. The writing is top notch and the performance seamlessly stellar. A must see!
