What I was most impressed with was the non-sentimental tact that was taken. Sentiment could have killed this piece but the writing and performances were anything but. And as a result, a piece that was written to chronicle a journey towards death was wonderfully full of life.
What I didn't like
I felt the actors took a bit of time to “settle” into character but I have taken part in the Fringe experience before and it is, overall, very rushed for the actors so I can easily forgive this minor stumble.
My overall impression
This show was good. I am known amongst my friends as someone with impossibly high theatrical standards and am so often disappointed. Not this time. This show was good. VERY good. Go see the last performance if you can.
