What I liked
Everything. This character was made for Alex. You don’t see where the character ends and the actor begins because they are so intertwined in all the right ways. Alex is so much fun, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her as she commands the stage with her presence. Every show is different and I can’t imagine what another one would be like.
What I didn't like
I would have liked to been called to stage, but it’s fine ….
My overall impression
Alex commands the stage in a way that you can only love her, there’s really no other option. Her talent embodies Cynthia so well that you forget you are watching a show and instead are immersed in Cynthia’s world and you just want to be her friend.
Alex is hilarious, bringing the audience in, to have a ball and a lot of laughs, all while we are still relating to this character and seeing what’s also happening underneath the surface. So many emotions. So much fun. So much talent. All in one black box.
