What I liked
I had a lot of fun seeing the historical accuracy of the piece after doing some post-show research.
The pace was great, fast and engaging. Smart to keep it contained to these final hours of his life.
What I didn't like
The sound design was a little weak. Cues abruptly end when they could use a fade out.
My overall impression
This is a great show! Danielle brings Cherokee Bill to life with a lot of charm and sympathy, but like the real-life outlaw, doesn’t seek forgiveness and owns his sins. The piece has a breezy pace, ironic given the dire circumstances of the setting.
Very talented and I’m excited to see what Danielle does next.
