What I liked
Roni is immediately engaging! Pedal to the metal right from the start! And she holds your attention throughout the show! Not to mention it was a 10pm show and her energy did not falter at all! There were so many one liners that had me laughing. And the tender, honest, vulnerable moments were well placed and well earned. I loved the mom character she played as well and related to some of her dating experiences. As someone who used to also be boy crazy and co-dependent this show made me feel compassion for myself and not feel shame for wanting romantic love from another.
What I didn't like
This show felt complete to me and worked! Go Roni!
My overall impression
HELL YEAH!! This show has: a super funny actor, witty writing, high energy, a fun use of the space, bright poppy lighting scheme and props that support the actor and story they are telling! I loved this show and fell in love with the performer! They brought so many truths and vulnerability about what it is like in today’s dating culture!
