Thought provoking and intense in the best way. Intelligent and beautifully structured. In the tradition of all good theatre, holding a mirror up to society, what could have been an outdated narrative written in the 90s is made utterly compelling by the director Miguel Perez and the flawless acting of Clair Wagner and Jean-Michel Richaud.... full review

Not to be missed! Revisiting Mamet's Oleanna in 2023 is an important endeavor. Whether viewed as a period piece where social-sexual, educational, and power dynamics collide in post 1980s University life, or through the modern day lens where the Me Too movement, social activism, attacks on education, and social media / internet connectivity dominate our existence, the piece gets at the heart of our national dilemma... division. ... full review

My review is with fresh eyes as I admittedly have never seen this Mamet play, which he wrote way back in 1992. (It was also adapted into a film, starring William H Macy). Fortunately, actors Jean- Michel Richaud and Claire Wagner were up to the task of tackling Mamet's language and they did it brilliantly! Miguel Perez's smooth, organic direction also deserves accolades. This is a searing drama, a power struggle between professor and student and it left me stunned at the end. It's still so relevant today. Bravo to the cast and crew! A masterful production!... full review

A wonderful production of OLEANNA. Deftly directed by Miguel Perez and efficiently executed by Claire Wagner and Jean Michel Richaud. An insightful and entertaining 80 minutes. Although written in 1991, the story could very well take place today. Perhaps producer Darcy Lee knew that we needed to revisit David Mamet's early 90's statement on gender inequity, power and the respective roles in education. ... full review
