BEST OF FRINGE -- I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ROCK MUSICAL. DOOMSDAY CABARET - I'M A BELIEVER From the moment I walked in I was enthralled! I could not stop smiling throughout the entire show. I cannot say enough good things about this show. Every single actor was absolutely wonderful to watch. They were all engaging and I felt like I was part of the "group". SET: I was told after the show that the space was transformed for the show "the fool and the red queen" but it really worked for Doomsday Cabaret! LIGHTING: Matthew Richter did a really nice job on the lighting. Again, making great use of the existing set. MUSIC: The Doomsday Band were tight and awesome. The show I saw had the alternate keyboardist, Richard Levins... full review

Oh my gosh what a blast!!!! Moving here from New York I just really didn't think LA theatre would deliver but this show is the real deal! The story was really fun, the band was rocking and the performers were EXCELLENT. Sarah Chaney stole the show with her inredible ability. She did it all- opera, rock, and a show stopping R&B number to make even Aretha proud! I loved the chemistry between Chaney and her co-star Jay.Todd Howell as well. See this show!!!!... full review

WOW!!! A MUST SEE one of a kind Cabaret! Give yourselves a favor and go see this show... It will give you the chills that all theater loving people have been waiting for. Really! In a 57 minute unique experience I was drawn to the stage smiling, laughing! Thinking: Yes, I am in! These super original songs written by Mike Fisher (Eddie) just filled the theater with fire, making real magic. Thank you. I loved all the actors, they were having soooo much fun...all so good and funny. The BEE Girl even let's the bees out of her jar :-) They are not only amazing actors but each of them were talented singers as well. What a combo! The apocalyptic energy on stage created by the actors and the Doomsday Band(!) made me feel like I w... full review

Oh my oh my what fun! Between the solar flare being drawn on my hand as soon as I entered the theater to the Tecate being passed around mid show, I couldn't stop smiling. The cast's energy was contagious! The hr long show was the perfect length to keep me wanting more. Musical notes hit by Sarah Chaney, who played Lorraine were breathtaking and the chemistry between bee-girl, I mean deerdra and Gale was adorably charming! And you would've thought Jack Black made an appearance as the pyromaniac Kurt Billie, during his fire obsessed song, performed by David Haverty who managed to win over the audience with his sincerity at being an outcast. I'd recommend this show to anyone and everyone looking for a lot of fun at the fringe!... full review

Doomsday Cabaret will have you transfixed with its mind-blowing mix of silliness, memorable songs, and unexpected plot turns. Featuring a high-energy ensemble cast, the show shines brightly with in-your-face blocking, a kick-ass rock band and a delicious intent: sending up the charlatans of the new age. ... full review
