I liked the journey that we the audience went on, both through the space and through Grayson’s creative mind. I especially liked the commitment and attention to detail that was paid to so many elements of it.
What I didn't like
Perhaps more exploration could be done in terms of what else this world can be, and how else it can be manifest? Like: could there be more avant-garde artsy fartsy sequences of movement and theater magic that expand the palate even further? Potentially! I didn’t spend the show craving that (I was thoroughly satisfied), but this question has prompted this brainstorm inside my mind.
My overall impression
This was such an inventive and lovely show!! Grayson’s relationship to the audience is both innovative and refreshing, making the show sort of a group hug, but not in an obnoxious way ;)
