Well-written, carefully staged, fast-paced. There’s a lot to process in this show that clocks in at just under 50 minutes, so plan this for the end of your festival day and leave some time afterwards to mull it over.
I appreciated that they included perspectives from women who like men and women who like women. I also loved the simple visual of each woman having a different colored scarf. I appreciated hearing a South Asian perspective on relating to this particular body part in our racist and misogynistic society; I learned a lot.
What I didn't like
The timing of the show was fantastic for a Fringe festival performance. If the show is performed on its own, it might make sense to extend it. However, I leave that to the discretion of the writers/actors.
My overall impression
Go see it, especially if you are NOT South Asian or don’t have a yoni!
