This three-person drama explores twisted family dynamics inspired by Nick Buda’s (writer, director) own family background, with a mysterious supernatural element. The play is about sisters who are ten years apart in age and lifetimes apart in personal experience. One sister is manic and uncontrollable and has been living in a cabin trying to perfect the ultimate suicide note. She believes the supernatural family folklore. She’s interrupted by her younger, controlling sister bringing news from the outside. They clash and one runs off into the woods in search of her lost family when a drifter appears claiming he has answers to the supernatural family secrets. Ultimately, the play covers, with some humor, themes of loss, mental illness, mysterious supernatural emergence, and the reconnecting of a family. WHY? Because It’s In Our Bones and if you come to the play it can be in yours too.
