What I liked

It’s not just Philly references and an accurately loud mouthed portrayal of a city’s denizen. It’s very real and very funny about the actual dangers of unchecked anger, particularly in women. We’re all so crammed together and economic resources so scarce that we never think how all of this builds in our psyche, and without spelling that out for the audience, Katierose gives you a prime example of how oblivious we can be to our own health.

What I didn't like

Can’t think of a thing. Tight show!

My overall impression

What starts as a fairly straightforward hometown solo show escalates to an absolutely explosive examination of a woman’s serious anger issues. Katierose is incredibly intense in her portrayal. I’d heard of people getting so wound up a vein pops out in their head, but I had never actually SEEN it happen until I saw her perform. Having been to Philadelphia a number of times, I can attest to this endearing tribute to the “city of brotherly spite.”
