What I liked

Timely and Relevant: Against the backdrop of current social issues, “Something In The Air” offers a timely and relevant commentary on the experiences of Asian/Asian-American individuals living in America today.
Diverse Representation: The play features a diverse cast of characters, each representing different backgrounds and perspectives within the AAPI community, contributing to a rich tapestry of narratives.
Intriguing Plot: Combining elements of mystery, conspiracy theories, myths, and generational stories, “Something In The Air” weaves an intriguing and thought-provoking plot that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.
Exploration of Identity and Culture: Through its dark sci-fi narrative, the play delves into themes of identity, culture, dreams, and the complexities of navigating life as a young Asian in America.

What I didn't like

That how wrote on Write My Lab Report : Given the ambitious scope of its themes and narrative elements, “Something In The Air” may run the risk of becoming overly complex or convoluted, potentially alienating some audience members.

My overall impression

Winner of the Hollywood Fringe Festival Scholarship 2022, “Something In The Air” delivers a compelling narrative that transcends the boundaries of traditional storytelling. Set against the backdrop of recent anti-Asian hate crimes in the United States, this play offers a poignant exploration of the lives of eight diverse Asian/Asian-American college students.
