My overall impression
Rebecca shares with her audience her experiences of having to transport herself on the public bus system in Los Angeles with her service dog Stella back and forth to cancer treatments. The fact Rebecca was able to observe and experience others with empathy and openness is in itself a testament to who she is and what her impact on others is. Her show is life affirming as well as thoughtful and filled with laugh out loud moments and deeply emotional feelings that made me cry. Thank you Rebecca for being that sage that can evoke opposite emotions in mere seconds. Much of our own life experience is looking in and not acknowledging the world around us. “Getting There!” coaxes us to look out, observe and interact, without judgment, to help us to get to the more important places, wrapped in the joy of others and recognizing we are all on the same “bus” together. Thank you Rebecca!!
