Nancy Eng brings life, love, pain, humor and experience to the stage! This is a fantastic 1 woman show that embodies all of the fore-mentioned! She has a unique format with blending the 8 characters and it absolutely works! You are drawn into the different 'lives' that she portrays, in the sex industry. It is not for the faint of heart and if you have a head on your shoulders, you will walk away thinking differently about such an industry because of the honesty in which Nancy Eng portrays it! Truly an hour and money well spent! Nancy Eng pulls no punches in her show and THAT is a nice change of pace! ... full review

I read reviews before seeing a show and was rather curious about, "The Women of Tu-Na House". You are taken on a journey of a culture, lives and obstacles of the sex industry, yes. However, I feel, there is so much more to it than that. You will laugh, think and cry, yes. But what is not mentioned in the reviews is that Nancy ENG wrote this. She becomes each and every character and makes you feel throughout the path that is taken, by all 8 of the them. Pat yourself on the back Nancy, job well done! Not an easy task. ... full review

Nancy Eng’s performance of Tu Na house is superb. I laughed and wanted to cry (almost at the same time). As Ms Eng carefully performs each character, she captures your attention and draws you in to connect intimately with each of the woman (as though they are your best friend). I truly enjoyed her performance. My very favorite character is the “Cat Lady.” This is an awesome piece of work. I left wanting more….a definite must see! ... full review

I liked the stories a lot. I also liked the presentation of the play via cameos of different characters. I think the acting came and went, with some scenes being admirable and others being only marginal. I think more work should be put into costuming to make quick changes more adequately alter the character so you clearly see different members of Tu-Na House. The subject matter was unique and interesting.... full review

Interesting, some characters stronger than others but overall well-done. Subject matter was what I expected but the individual stories were surprising & very informative.... full review

Good piece of work. Had me laughing so hard at certain times. Would definitely see it again. Totally not what I was expecting especially the lady with the cat (was crying) and the other one was spot on!... full review

This girl rocked! It was so funny and the writing was incredible. The hour went by quickly. Too bad the house was less than half full, you people missed out. Definitely should see if you get the chance.... full review

The medley of characters told in so many voices by Nancy Eng was captivating. A full range of pathos to humor performed and written with a high degree of professionalism kept my interest though out. I could not always identify the underlying nature of all the characters, however I can say that I was completely entertained. Looking forward to the next act! ... full review

This play was hilarious! A very insightful and fresh perspective on the seedy underbelly of American pleasure parlors. An important work for Asian Asian American theatre. ... full review

An enjoyable hour with a creative actress. It's a shame the costuming changes were so poorly handled and the over-all production values are so poor. the show deserves better. ... full review
