What I liked
The venue was perfect for a cabaret.
What I didn't like
I think the people who commit to doing the show should be asked to commit for the full time. As someone who went last and was really excited and supportive of the other performers… It was a bummer to see people walking out one by one before I got up. A lot of shows stayed, which was wonderful- but I did obviously take note of those that did their piece and took off early. It was slated to end at 8:30 and it did on the dot. Those few people put a damper on the warm and fuzzy feeling I think was intended her (and mostly succeeded).My overall impression
I appreciate that the fringe offers this event. Bella Luna is AWESOME and her replacement MC was fantastic. It’s lovely to get a sample of the shows, some of which blew me away, but also really important to me to feel connected to a greater “fringe community.”
