Glennis has a spectacular voice (in every way), and I loved the musical numbers so much, and the layered aspect of show within a show. Her characters were funny but they punched me in the gut in exactly the right ways. I also so loved and admired her choice to continually drop these broad characters and to literally bring us all the way down to the bottom of the truth. In short, this show and it’s star has a natural emotional tracking that keeps you with her from the moment she enters the stage, till literally her final
bow. SO GOOD.
What I didn't like
It could be longer. I was thrilled to hear that this is a work in progress, but I so look forward to seeing (and experiencing) where it goes!
My overall impression
This was one of the most boldly giving pieces of live theater I have ever seen.
