A romantic comedy with dirt underneath its fingernails- in that, like life, love has complications that go deeper than simple misunderstandings we see in most rom-coms but rather deception, mutual opportunism, trust, and believing that someone is who they currently say they are and not what their past would dictate. Well acted, with some very touching moments. I heard many comments during the festival about how long a Fringe show 'should' be which I personally find bizarre - as Peter Schaeffer has Mozart stating in his play Amadeus when the King says there are 'too many notes' - "there are as many notes as there need to be!" Similarly, this play is as long as it needs to be and they held the audience's attention throughout.... full review
