The whole cast is a bunch of cutie pies, with great energy and great talent. The play brought me to tears several times, because it was nice to see such a simple, but INCREDIBLY relatable story on the stage.
What I didn't like
The transitions were a bit clunky. But whatever. The play was great.
My overall impression
A very beautiful, touching piece of theatre. What moved me the most, was that this was a story that put two queer men in the focus, but never resorted to the tropes of typical queer stories. It was a slice of life, and refreshing to see queer people not be tragically struck down by disease, or their relationship torn apart by cheating, or the other stereotypical staples. I felt so connected, and moved, and the entire cast did a great job. The characters genuinely loved each other and worked through their obstacles, because of their love.
