Like the best sketch comedy, this show takes a small, daily absurdity and spins it through a funhouse mirror, giving us a broad comic bit to laugh at and a cutting emotional truth to walk away with. The performers were all great and had excellent chemistry, the writing was sharp and silly, and no sketches ever dragged on too long. And while there’s a broad variety of bits, Emily Bolcik’s comic sensibility clearly runs throughout, giving the show a cohesive flow.
What I didn't like
I was told there would be breakdancing.
My overall impression
A wonderfully absurd collection of sketches and characters that speaks to the insanity of modern life.
