What I liked
The costumes design and music truly set the world of the show. I felt transported to the 80s and it is evident the creators and actors spent time crafting each character. Shout out to the wig design on the show because there was absolutely no ambiguity identifying your favorite characters. Billy’s abs were pretty great too and well worth the ticket price.
What I didn't like
More book scenes to make the storyline more clear. I am not sure someone unfamiliar with the show would be able to follow along with what is happening.
My overall impression
This show is a lot of fun! The actors committed to their characters and the absurdity of a Stranger Things musical while giving each character a lot of heart. You care about each character and want them to win at the end which is hard to do in a parody musical.
