The actors were all on the same page in terms of knowing the show they were in. Fully committed to silliness, and playing wonderfully off of one another.
As a Batman fan for many years, I loved all the references back to the animated series, movies, and even the video games. (Gods among us, what injustice!)
What I didn't like
I’d like to see a version of this that’s had more time to rehearse and without the Fringe constraints. I feel like this is just the beginning for them.
My overall impression
Pure lunacy in its finest form, Bat Knight! is a love letter to the dark knight while still being accessible to non-fans. The humor is smart in its own absurd way, the performances are fun, and you just can’t help but walk out with a huge, Joker-like smile on your face.
