A Year in Dragonfly

What I liked

I liked the blunt honesty of the story and delivery. It’s a very relatable story for many people. It can be challenging and difficult to hear about emotional and physical abuse, especially that which was experienced by a young child/woman who was abused by a man. It could be triggering for women audience members who have experienced or are experiencing the same thing. However the story does leave you with an uplifting message.

What I didn't like

Only issue was a sound balance at the top of the show. This was the preview show, so small tech issues are to be expected. I know it will be corrected for the remaining shows.

My overall impression

Very strong enjoyable piece. Well thought out and arranged. Showed a wide range of the performer’s talents. I’d recommend seeing it.
