What I liked
I was amazed by the tour de force performance by a strong vocalist who is also a composer and accomplished accompanist.
What I didn't like
Although Laura Jo did have an interpretation for Lady Macbeth, I was hoping that there would be interpretation for more of the female characters from dramas, such as Desdemona and Cleopatra.
My overall impression
Very creative musical summation of Shakespeare’s female characters in their own voices. A tour de force performance by Laura Jo Trexler.
