First and foremost, the script was bloody amazing. So funny at times, but with seamless transitions from hilarity to drama. The cast was more than up to the material. I enjoyed the contrast between the high energy of Julia Plostnieks and Michael Lutheran’s (mostly) more natural performance; I don’t know whether the actors or the director chose their different approaches, but either way they played off each other marvelously. Graydon Schlichter and Megan Duquette portray the dozens of other characters swirling around them
What I didn't like
The last 1/4 or so seemed comparatively slow and far less eventful. Of course, that was probably a deliberate choice to show the contrast between life before HUGESPOILER and after HUGESPOILER, and it did also have to cover 50 years.
My overall impression
Best show I’ve seen at this year’s Fringe Festival. Brilliant script, excellent acting from the entire cast.
