What I liked
Almost all of it.
What I didn't like
Very little of it.
My overall impression
I caught the opening of this fantastic, funny, heart-wrenching, piece this weekend. Jacob Smith’s script (based on a short piece that I had the honor of performing years ago) is grounded, elegant and precise in its portrait of a life’s worth of love. Julia Plostnieks’s work is endearingly natural and subtle (when it needs to be), and Michael Lutheran complements this with a sincere energy that transforms and matures appropriately throughout. Definitely worth checking out.
