The show was a delight! It went by fast even though there was no intermission. I was engaged the whole time and laughed a lot, even though the subtext was dark (and smart!) I highly recommend seeing this gem of a show before it's gone! Fabianne Meyer and Chloe Dworkin gave standout performances.... full review

Prozorovs cleverly and seamlessly marries Chekhov with the unabashed narcissism of the Kardashian family. Call backs from Three Sisters as portrayed through the self-promoting filter of the Prozorovs made for a laugh-out-loud, thought-provoking 90 minutes of fun with a talented cast and sharp dialogue.... full review

I went into this with limited expectations. Firstly, I am NOT a Chekhov fan. I don't doubt his genius, but his writing has never made much of an impact on me. Secondly, I am NOT a Kardashian fan in any way, shape, or form. So, as I sauntered into the McCadden Theatre at 11:45pm for a midnight performance of a show that combined the two, I did so with the knowledge that I might be setting myself up for disappointment. Fortunately, nothing could have been further from the truth. KEEPING UP WITH THE PROZOROVS is a clever, ingenuous, altogether uproarious twist on the classic Chekhovian text, that modernizes the ups and downs of this family in a way that seems entirely honest even though the hysterics are, at times, ludicrous. This show is a per... full review

This is an inventive adaptation of Chekov's 3 Sisters; the source material clearly lends itself well to the pop culture phenomena of the Kardashians. The performances are tight and compelling. Although it clocks in at 90 minutes, it feels closer to an hour. No lags. Excellent show.... full review

I am not a play person but I really enjoyed this production. Lucy Gillespi's writing flew off the script. The dialogue was natural, engaging, and witty, translating to an expressive, tense, and nuanced cast. A brilliant modern day spin on an old tale, interpreting our shallow culture with humor and depth.... full review

Chekhov's THE THREE SISTERS as told by a TV family similar to the Kardashians is both witty satire and a heartfelt, yet sad, glimpse in to the vapid state of American culture. Today we look at Chekhov's writing as classic and remote from us, but Chekhov was writing popular material current for his times. KEEPING UP WITH THE PROZOROVS has the double advantage of commenting on both Chekhov and reality television while giving us a little to think about, besides. This production is a witty, well-produced and excellently crafted mash-up of the Russian Playwright and E! Television. ... full review

A fantastic mashup of old and new that skewers the idea of "person as brand" and Instastardom. ... full review

100 percent! A +, Fun, smart, and a really great social commentary without batting you over the head. The writing was so clever, well thought out, and fun. So many great one-liners. All of the characters were really distinct and developed. I laughed so much and when I wasn't laughing I was smirking with amusement. The acting was stellar with such great comedic timing. I'm gushing and I don't write glowing on a whim. Go see it!! ... full review

What a FAB fusion of Chekhov's "Three Sisters" meets "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." I was thoroughly impressed by the clever, timely parallels as well as supreme performances from the entire cast. This is a very strong production, especially for Fringe. I really hope it continues on after this run because it deserves a bigger audience. But do catch it while you can!... full review
