APRIL 25, 2018 – LOSANGELES – From the moment actor/producer Leah Verrill saw a production of Deborah Brevoort’s The Women of Lockerbie last fall in Massachusetts, she knew she wanted to bring it to Los Angeles, more specifically to Fringe. What she experienced was a beautiful and brilliantly written play about grief and how love can prevail, a message she knew she needed to share. As such, Little Earthquakes Ensemble will bring The Women of Lockerbie to studio/stage this June as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
A modern Greek tragedy about the triumph of love over hate, The Women of Lockerbie is a poetic play about a mother from New Jersey who roams the hills of Lockerbie, Scotland looking for her son’s remains, which were lost in the crash of Pan Am Flight 103.
