I truly enjoyed this heart-warming show. Kathryn took very serious subjects related to homelessness reflected by various characters and added just enough humor to keep us interested and entertained. I wish my church members could see it since we are adding Skid Row as a campus to our ministries.... full review

Definitely a show everyone should see! Creative, honest, fun and very touching all at the same time. These are real stories and Kathryn did an exceptional job of becoming all of the different characters to tell each of their stories in such a beautiful way. She reminds us to have more compassion for the homeless and not be so quick to dismiss them and their journeys. Her talent, passion and presence are captivating and inspiring. ... full review

"A mile in My Shoe" at Lounge theater 2, one woman show, by my daughterinlaw, Kathryn. She is very gifted and a very talented actress. She was phenomenal in bringing awareness regarding homelessness everywhere. It was touching, will bring tears to your eyes, laughter, and you will leave the show thinking that it could be you. HOMELESS! When you pass a homeless person, this play will remind you of the change in your pocket. 1 John 3:17, "But if anyone has the World's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in you.... full review

What an incredible show with an poignant message. Kathryn did an amazing job of opening our eyes to the issue of homeless people and showcasing the humanity of each character. Everything was so good. The use of music, her movement and dance piece was powerful, the projections didn't feel unnecessary and never took away from Kathryn because she commands the stage like no other! Her versatility as an actor is incredible and her writing skills are just as strong. Congrats, girlie!!! ... full review

So, I planned all week to go see Kathryn in her one woman show at the @hollywoodfringe festival, A Mile in my Shoes because I wanted to see Kat do her thang AND she was presenting a subject dear to my heart "homelessness".I didn't know what to expect, had some thoughts of what it might be BUT WHAT I GOT was this BRILLIANT, ENTHRALLING show! It ministered,it educated,it touched me,it made me laugh, it showcased a researched, focused & passionate actress giving voice to 'humans' living on the streets of L.A. - based on real stories.Righfully so it has been extended. She will be performing July 7th & 8th.The show is only $10!... full review

Kathryn Smith does a beautiful job taking on multiple characters, their physicalities, and voices! The content of this show is serious but Kathryn does a nice job threading in some humor. Loved how she used a variety of media. She uses a projector, overhead music through the speakers, a live voice from backstage, and she herself sings, and dances, and mimes! She is spectacular and brings a very important subject to the awareness of sold out houses!... full review
