Touching and personal true story that triggers a life-changing reevaluation of what's really important. I love that Greg has cast 4 different actors, with 4 different takes on the material. Heartfelt and funny. ...

Out of 12 multigenre shows I saw in the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival, Greg LaVoi's "I Died Today" stood out for the emotional wallop it delivered, and the sensitive, heart-rending performance of Rene Rosado. Greg LaVoi packed a lot of wisdom about life, love, and making the most of both into 20+ minutes. Rene Rosado stunned with his in-depth portrayal of Jake, and star-making ability to hold his audience in rapt attention, as he explored his emotional landscape. The impact of "I Died Today" is its function as a wake-up call — a red-flashing, siren-blaring alert to tune in to what life is all about, before it's too late. As the spiritual guide who shakes the audience into awareness, Rene Rosado leaves his mark, and his impact in this role l...

worthy of the ride!
The stone wall, dead body, and dog watching over his
Family member was stunning, creative and perfectly set the scene for the story.
The play was very thought provoking in dealing with dying, death and lessons learned about living and what is truly important.
Wonderful to have back to back shows with 2 different actors and interpretations of the play.
Well done! Kudos to each person involved with this amazing production!
I rate this play SWEET!!! Highly recommend back to back presentations!!!!

Loved this show...it was highly entertaining given the subject matter but maybe more importantly it was thought provoking. Came away thinking about life and death from a whole new angle.
Greg's concept of 4 different actors doing the same monolog is fabulous and unique in my experience. It is a powerful story and very well conceived...enough humor to balance what seems like a very serious subject...I Died Today.
Saw two great actors (Jahmone and David) back to back and was amazed at their abilities to take the same words and give them subtle and unique interpretations which took the audience along on their journey. Sorry I wasn't able to see the other two interpretations.

This show is theater at its finest. An actor comes on stage, tells a story, captures our attention, and leaves us thinking about our own lives. So simple yet so well executed on every level. Nicely done!...
