Turns out all of the overseas raves about Abie Philbin Bowman's portrayal of the Son of God working the stand-up circuit are indeed completely justified. This is just *great* stuff - politically astute, clever use of pop-culture references and surprisingly moving family dynamic stuff (that I wasn't expecting), all tied up in one long hilariously *devastating* attack on the obscenity that is Gitmo. I love political theatre and this guy is just brilliant. I saw him for 15 minutes at the late night reviews. It starts with his title and subject matter. Jesus in Guantanamo, Eco-friendly Jihad. And he does hit so close to home, I am reluctant to repeat what he said for fear of the FBI knocking on my door. I think this guy is great, go and see him.... full review

It's a kin to a British performer performing on the London stage in the 1940s and making fun of the British people while they are trying to fight the Nazis. He's a very capable performer who had a clever turn of the phrase and some funny jokes, but it would have been much more powerful if the show was more truthful, even though it had some truths in it. He was 100 percent a mouth piece and talking points for the far left in this country who believe the war ... full review
