Trump in Space- The Musical

Had a blast at this show! Very funny, with bits of weird specificity that are truly inspired. The songs are great, and the cast has terrific comedic timing. Most enjoyable thing about the show for me was how obvious it is that the performers all love each other (which was especially evident in a couple of great moments where they cracked each other up). Oh, and if you're 100% sick of all things Trump, I'd still recommend this show: because of the "far off in the distant future" aspect of it, it honestly didn't trigger my ick-factor at all. ... full review

Fun, slick and tight. Spot on in every moment. Loved the score, the tone, the staging, choreography, singing and of course the characters. It could be easy to dismiss this show unseen as simply jumping on the bandwagon of bashing Trump in order to drive ticket sales, but this show is so much more than that. ... full review

FULL DISCLOSURE OH MY GOD. I know people in the production. (That's right, you heard me. I know production people. Now get this water out of here. I said CHILLED not COLD. Cretin.) Trump in Space is super fun. The cast keeps things moving and cram the funny in at every turn. The music is great and the staging allows for all sorts of nuanced bits. It's a well oiled machine that sticks to the premise. And though the final reveal seemed a bit out of nowhere (SPOILER ALERT! There's a final reveal) I later realized it kind of fits perfectly in the "why not" department, a highlighted example of how we've all had to deal with the purposefully chaotic.
