What I liked
What I saw was absolute honesty out of everyone of these characters. Everyone was truly fighting for what they believed they needed to make them happy. Jackie (the ex – con) NEEDED the truth about his relationship’s standing. Both of the strong women each NEEDED their own form of ‘escape’ from the emotional shit storm that is their lives. Veronica (the girlfriend) found her “escape hatch(es)” in substances while Victoria (the neglected wife) found hers in self stimulus. Ralph D (the sponsor) NEEDED to find balance between being needed and taking care of his own shit. While Julio (the Cousin) just NEEDED to love and be loved in return. Each character spends every single moment of this play truly fighting to hold on to what they think will make them happy/fulfilled. Hilarious and heart wrenching, this play will not disappoint!
