What I liked

Everything. I was wondering why Chris insisted on having 3 different performers play the various time periods, but when I saw the show, it all fell into place. There is no other way to portray this piece. The acting and the writing were better that 95% of any other stage or TV I;ve seen in a long time and as someone who knows more than the average amount about Welles and at least a smattering about Hemingway, this piece totally rang true for my on ever level.

What I didn't like

There was one awkward moment in the third act with the ball, but really, it’s such minuscule thing I think it’s barely worth mentioning. I think it’s something I would have staged differently if I was directing, but it doesn’t really hurt the overall piece in the least bit.

My overall impression

Such a great show (and not just because I did the artwork for their program). I was more excited about this show, based solely on the concept, than any other show I saw at the 2017 Fringe — and it did not disappoint in the least bit. Top notch acting, writing and direction – heck, even the costumes were spot on! Do not miss this last extended performance!
