The Pallas Theatre Collective is pleased to announce that their season’s production of “The Many Women of Troy”, a new musical, will be a part of the 2011 Hollywood Fringe Festival, marking the area premiere of their work at the Open Fist Theatre.

“The Many Women of Troy” is a bold new musical written by Broadway artists Michael John Boynton and Brian Allan Hobbs. It is inspired by Euripides classic tragedy “The Trojan Women”, and is seen through the eyes of its five women: Cassandra, the bitter prophetess; Hecuba, the vengeful queen; Polyxena, the lost child; and Helen, the face that launched a thousand ships. The Many Women of Troy follows these women as they fight through conflict and violence, start their own little wars, and move beyond repeating the mistakes of the past.
