Pallas Theatre Collective is proud to announce the world premiere of The Many Women of Troy at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, with book and lyrics by Michael John Boynton and music by Brian Allan Hobbs.

The Many Women of Troy is inspired by Euripides classic tragedy The Trojan Women, and is seen through the eyes of its five women: Cassandra, the bitter prophetess; Andromache, the naïve mother; Hecuba, the vengeful queen; Polyxena, the lost child; and Helen, the face that launched a thousand ships. The Many Women of Troy follows these women as they fight through conflict and violence and start their own little wars.

Michael John Boynton is currently working towards his doctorate the University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies. He holds an MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA from Wayne State University. Michael has worked predominantly as a writer and an actor, both on and off Broadway. Michael is also Co-Artistic Director of the Pallas Theatre Collective.

Brian Allan Hobbs is also an alumnus of the NYU/Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. His Broadway credits include Disney’s Tarzan (Music Production Assistant); Rock of Ages (Music Preparation Supervisor); and Finian’s Rainbow (Music Preparation Supervisor). He is also the founder of Firefly Music, a music publishing and production organization.
